Ingredients:

  • 1 lb broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until every nook and cranny is well coated.
  3. Spread the broccoli onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring space between florets to prevent steaming.
  4. Roast for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn a deep golden brown and smell toasted.
  5. Remove the tray from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with lemon zest and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Toss gently on the pan to coat before serving.
