Ingredients:
- 1 lb broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until every nook and cranny is well coated.
- Spread the broccoli onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring space between florets to prevent steaming.
- Roast for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn a deep golden brown and smell toasted.
- Remove the tray from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with lemon zest and Parmesan cheese.
- Toss gently on the pan to coat before serving.
