Ingredients:
- 4 oz High-Quality White Rum
- 1 lb frozen strawberries
- 2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tbsp agave nectar
- 0.25 cup cold water
Instructions:
- Place your serving glasses in the freezer to ensure they are frosty and ready.
- Pour the 4 oz white rum into the bottom of the blender jar. Note: Always add liquids first to lubricate the blades.
- Add the 2 oz lime juice and 2 tbsp agave nectar to the rum.
- Pour in the 0.25 cup cold water.
- Dump the entire 1 lb of frozen strawberries on top of the liquid base.
- Secure the lid and use the pulse setting three to four times. until the large berries are broken into pea sized chunks.
- Switch to high speed and blend for 30 to 45 seconds.
- Watch for the vortex to form in the center of the blender, which signals a smooth mix.
- Stop the motor and check the consistency with a spoon; it should be thick enough to hold a peak.
- Pour immediately into the chilled glasses and serve with a lime wheel.
