Ingredients:

  • 4 oz Silver Tequila
  • 2 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz Organic agave nectar
  • 1 oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 1 tbsp coarse sea salt
  • 2 lime wedges
  • 2 strawberry halves

Instructions:

  1. Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of two glasses. Dip the rims into the coarse sea salt until a thin, crystalline crust forms.
  2. Place the quartered strawberries and agave nectar in the shaker. Muddle firmly until the berries are pulpy and fragrant.
  3. Pour in the tequila, lime juice, and Cointreau.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker feels frosty to the touch.
  5. Strain the mixture into the salted glasses over fresh ice, allowing the fresh fruit fragments to remain for texture.
