Ingredients:
- 4 oz Silver Tequila
- 2 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz Organic agave nectar
- 1 oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1 tbsp coarse sea salt
- 2 lime wedges
- 2 strawberry halves
Instructions:
- Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of two glasses. Dip the rims into the coarse sea salt until a thin, crystalline crust forms.
- Place the quartered strawberries and agave nectar in the shaker. Muddle firmly until the berries are pulpy and fragrant.
- Pour in the tequila, lime juice, and Cointreau.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker feels frosty to the touch.
- Strain the mixture into the salted glasses over fresh ice, allowing the fresh fruit fragments to remain for texture.
