Ingredients:

  • 12 oz (340g) Ocean Spray Fresh Cranberries, rinsed and sorted
  • 1 medium naval orange, unpeeled and seeded
  • 0.75 cup (150g) granulated white sugar
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Grand Marnier or orange liqueur (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the fresh cranberries in cold water and discard any soft berries. Cut the unpeeled orange into eighths, removing any seeds and the thick white central pith while leaving the skin intact.
  2. Place the cranberries and orange wedges into a food processor. Use short, 1-second pulses to chop the fruit until it reaches a consistent, pebbly texture. Avoid over-processing into a purée.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a glass bowl and stir in the granulated sugar, sea salt, and optional orange liqueur. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the sugar to dissolve and the flavors to macerate.
