Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin (lean, trimmed)
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions:

  1. Pat the pork tenderloin completely dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear.
  2. Rub the meat with oil, then evenly coat with the combined salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and brown sugar, pressing the spices into the meat with your palms.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (205°C).
  4. Place the tenderloin in the center of the basket and air fry for 10 minutes.
  5. Flip the meat using tongs and cook for another 8-12 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer reaches an internal temperature of 135-140°F (57-60°C).
  6. Transfer the pork to a cutting board and tent loosely with foil; let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
