Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 lb pork tenderloin
Instructions:
- Pat the pork tenderloin completely dry with paper towels to ensure a mahogany crust.
- Combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl and massage firmly into all sides of the meat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the seasoned pork in the air fryer basket, ensuring it does not touch the sides. Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C).
- Whisk together BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Generously brush the glaze over the top and sides of the pork.
- Return the pork to the air fryer for another 3–5 minutes until the sauce bubbles and the internal temperature reaches exactly 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let the meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.
